Core Teachings:

1. The Essence of Bodhicitta: Bodhicitta is the fundamental principle of Buddhism. All sentient beings possess it inherently, but they fail to realize it due to delusions and attachments. The essence lies in understanding that all sentient beings are inherently Buddhas. This realization forms the foundation of Buddhist practice.
2. Importance of an Enlightened Master: The key to Buddhist practice lies in finding an enlightened Master who can guide one towards the true essence of Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings, thus facilitating swift enlightenment.
3. Significance of Empowerment: Once an enlightened Master is found, how does one proceed with practice? Why is empowerment necessary, and what constitutes authentic empowerment? How does one truly connect with the Master and the Dharma realm?

Shakyamuni Buddha, originally a prince of the Shakya kingdom in ancient India, renounced his royal status after witnessing life’s sufferings and pursued enlightenment. After six years of austere practice, he attained supreme enlightenment under the Bodhi tree and became known as the Buddha, the awakened one.

Whether it’s the yoga of Amitabha Buddha, Medicine Buddha, or Cundi Buddha Mother, all emanate from the heart of Shakyamuni Buddha himself. Thus, studying the practices associated with Shakyamuni Buddha is the primary task for any Buddhist aspiring for enlightenment.

Buddhism is not merely a religion of worship; it is the education of Buddha. Guru Zhang Bu Sheng, imparts the empowerment and practices associated with Shakyamuni Buddha. By elucidating the three fundamental principles of practice, he simplifies complexities, guiding practitioners to realize enlightenment through the wisdom of prajna.
